Water leak is the common problem in today’s life. leak is the way of escaping a fluid such as water from a container or any pipe such as leak from hull of ship.
Types of leak Detection:
1. Commercial:--lots of water lost every year due to leak in main water pipes nearly it is estimated 40% of total.
2. Domestic:-for home supplies pipes also leakage due to excessive pressure from heat sand etc.

Methods to find leakage in the pipes:

1. Pipe tracing:-The pipe locator is placed on the top of water pipeline which consists of a receiver and electronic generator.
2. Reservoir chlorination & dechlorination:-sterilization of water is possible through this method, reservoir is filled with the dechloranation and stand for some time then bacterial remedies can be cure similarly we do chlorination.
3. Remote camera submarine:-sometimes where if human being is unable to go then under water we use ROV.
4.Repairing walls:-Repairing is done time by time if any one notice cracks at wall or any water tank so before huge lost it can be done better.
5. Utility Tracing:-Through this we find the details weather we get water or gas and graph is prepared according to it. In this we use Ground Penetration Radar.
6. Pressure Testing:-In this we use pressure testers to find the pressure level of pipes.
7. fire Hydrant Testing:-in this we find the pressure and maximum flow rate from the pipes.
8. Reseviour Restoration:-We get the details of the structure where we want to install pipe.
